Well I'm Luisa aka Lefty. It's been very exciting helping out with the tour. One of my most memorable moments have been the photo shoots for Marcus Very Ordinary and Gregg Tillery by Patrick McPheron. I will be popping in some behind the scene shots from the shoots. Here is a picture of a mural in Macarthur Park in downtown LA that I found pretty neat. COME BACK and visit, YYOOOO!

UPDATES: Blue Rabbit and Bookings!

Exciting news! Blue Rabbit has been added to the bill for our San Francisco stop! We are super excited to have such an awesome band join our shenanigans!

Blue Rabbit is a seven-piece multi-instrumental and vocal ensemble that fuses alternative indie pop with baroque elements, modern rhythms, and a hint of cabaret. Fronted by a close-harmony singing trio, grounded by intricate drum and cello grooves, and adorned with the syncopated pulsing of a Celtic harp, Blue Rabbit has been described as “The Andrews Sisters playing with Portishead,” or “Nick Cave songs with a touch of The Supremes.”

Now...just to find an appropriate venue...Stay tuned!

Oh, Boston may be booked as well! Any one got any connections with Middle East in Boston? Hook it up!

If you have any super cool bands in any of the tour cities, let us know! We want to add a local band to each night. Thoughts? Suggestions? Don't be shy!

Gregg Tillery performing Little Flower

On June 25th, Gregg Tillery performed at the Viper Room with Wadsworth. In this photograph, Gregg is singing
his original song Little Flower which you can check out on his website, track 2.

Laudry of LuxuryWafers.net describes Little Flower as "an entertaining love song. Kind of an apology. It's like dipping your toes into a hot pool, immersing fully and writhing around in it, then exiting wrapped in a towel of composure.

You'll see. Little Flower starts off sparse - just Greg singing plus some banjo. The song begins to incorporate smart harmonies, building into full band sound with the slight hint of Chicago influence. It rapidly evolves into an endearing, all-out bawling expose', but then they pull themselves back together at the last minute for a sweet, tidy finish."

Gregg will be going on tour in September. Check out the rest of our talented, ridiculously attractive artists on the lineup page.
